ForgeRock® is a leading platform provider of digital identity management solutions. The ForgeRock Trust Network Technology Program enables its partner community to integrate complementary technologies to extend and derive additional value with ForgeRock. ImageWare is a Principal Partner in the program, which is the top designation. ForgeRock and ImageWare’s technical staff collaborated closely to provide a seamless integration between GoVerifyID and the ForgeRock Identity Platform, and the integration has been validated as ForgeRock certified. This integration enables ForgeRock customers to very easily add ImageWare’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and biometric multi-modal authentication to their ForgeRock systems. Users can simply take a selfie, speak a phrase, swipe their finger, or show their palm to provide the ultimate in user assurance and convenience. ImageWare® Systems Closes $8.9 Million Preferred Stock Private Placement and Approximately $6.9 Million Debt Conversion into Equity

San Diego, CA, September 12, 2018 – ImageWare Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: IWSY), a leader in mobile and cloud-based, multi-factor, multi-modal biometric identity management solutions, today announced that it has completed a private placement of $8.9 million of the Company’s newly designated Series C Convertible Preferred Stock, with four new institutional investors. Shares of Series C Preferred will accrue dividends at a rate of 8% per annum if paid in cash or 10% per annum if paid in shares of the Company’s common stock, and are convertible into shares of the Company’s common stock at a conversion price of $1.00 per share. Northland Capital Markets acted as the exclusive placement agent for the Series C Financing. Northland Capital Markets is the trade name for certain capital markets and investment banking services of Northland Securities, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC. Concurrently with the Series C Financing, holders of approximately $6.9 million of unsecured debt converted their debt, which amount includes all accrued and unpaid interest thereon, into 6,897 shares of the Company’s existing Series A Convertible Preferred Stock. The Company’s Board of Directors also declared a dividend for the holders of the Series A Preferred, pursuant to which each holder of Series A Preferred will receive a warrant to purchase approximately 40 shares of the Company’s common stock for every share of Series A Preferred held, which warrant is only exercisable concurrently with conversion of outstanding shares of Series A Preferred. ImageWare® Systems Reports 2018 Second Quarter and Six-Month Financial Results

Update on Partners’ Biometric Sales and Marketing San Diego (August 9, 2018) – ImageWare® Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: IWSY), a leader in mobile and cloud- based, multi-factor, multi-modal biometric identity management solutions, reported financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018. Q2 Summary of Results Revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018 increased 78% to $1.9 million from $1.1 million in the second quarter of 2017. The increase reflects increased product revenue from the Veteran’s administration and several of our law enforcement customers. Gross profit for the second quarter was $1.6 million (84%) as compared with $810,000 (76%) in the second quarter 2017. The higher gross margins are due to higher software licensing revenue in the quarter. Net loss was $2.3 million in the second quarter compared with $2.5 million in the second quarter 2017. Six Months Summary of Results Revenue for the six-month period ended June 30, 2018 increased 31% to $2.6 million from $2.0 million in the same six-month period in 2017. Gross profit for the six months was $2.0 million (79%) as compared with $1.5 million (74%) in the same six-month period in 2017. Net loss was $5.9 million in the six months compared with $5.3 million in the same six-month period in 2017. ImageWare® Systems Reports 2018 First Quarter Financial Results

Update on Partners’ Biometric Sales and Marketing San Diego (May 10, 2018) – ImageWare® Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: IWSY), a leader in mobile and cloud-based, multi-modal biometric identity management solutions, reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018.  Q1 Summary of Results Revenue for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018 decreased 23% to $716,000 from $928,000 in the first quarter 2017. Gross profit for the first quarter was $468,000 (65%) as compared with $666,000 (72%) in the first quarter 2017. Net loss was $3.6 million in the first quarter compared with $2.7 million in the first quarter 2017.  Recently Announced Significant Events In April ImageWare received a $730,000 order from an existing customer for additional licenses of its Biometric Engine® identification software. In January, the company brought on board David Somerville as Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing to help the company to navigate the expected increase in worldwide sales activity.
